A new store
A new store has been added to our historic antique shop at Via Romana 76/r, Florence. After 40 years in Florence, an antique shop returns to the shopping street. Berti Antichità is excited to announce the opening of its new antique store in Piazza Rucellai 9, one of the central streets in the historic centre of Florence. In this new store, enthusiasts can discover a curated selection of unique pieces from all over Italy and Europe, designed to satisfy contemporary trends in the antiques market. Our history
Antichità Berti was founded in 1956 and has since become known as one of the leading art and antique galleries. In 1987, the founder’s son, Simone Berti, took over the business and immediately gave the gallery an international vision. He began travelling throughout Europe in search of furniture, objects, paintings, sculptures, and everything that is truly beautiful and original; this ensures a continuous arrival of new items from all over Europe at the gallery.
Simone Berti is an expert in art and antiques and has successfully led the gallery to success. Thanks to his experience, the gallery has become a point of reference for collectors and antique enthusiasts. His selection of high-quality items and his passion for art have made him a prominent figure in the world of antiques, with many of his clients considering him a key reference.
